Developing next-generation cell and gene therapies that overcome existing limitations with core technology advances in biomembrane and organelle engineering

Innovation Research Center for Bio-future Technology

We aim to develop and provide pipelines for novel cell and gene therapies, along with advanced enabling technologies, for the treatment of immune disorders, cancer, and central nervous system diseases. This will be achieved by developing biomembrane and organelle engineering technologies, ex vivo membrane delivery systems, and in vivo membrane delivery technologies that address current limitations in cell and gene therapy.

  • In vivo delivery and targeting of genes and drugs to specific cells and tissues
  • Endosome escape technologies to prevent the degradation of genes and drugs after cellular uptake
  • Intracellular delivery and targeting to specific subcellular locations
